SNOW!!!

Jeff loves this time of year because it means SNOW!!! Yesterday we got about an inch of snow and today we are expecting another 3-5...it's going to be a fun weekend!

Mom sent me this pictures a few minutes ago. It's so much fun having him older because he actually likes going outside and playing in the snow. He's hoping to help Uncle John...but who knows how busy he will be!

Emma is 10 Months Old!!!

Emma- You are TEN months old! I cannot believe it. I'm so sad that you are going to be 1 in just two short months, this year is going way to fast. BUT you have the best personality so it's fun watching you grow.

You are 19lbs and probably 29 inches long, we just moved you up into the last slot of your carseat, so soon it will be time for the bigger one! You wear size 4 diapers and size 18 month clothes. You just keep growing and growing...

Most of the time you take 2 naps per day, but sometimes you only take 1 and it's a nice long one since you are so tired. You pretty much go to bed between 630 and 7 and sleep until around 630 the next morning. I couldn't as for a better sleeper!!!

You are always so happy! You love your brother and smile whenever you see him. You are getting more and more attached to mommy and you whine and crawl to me until I pick you up. You still have a sweet spot for daddy & papa though, they just have to look at you and you grin...it's so cute!

You are a crawling machine! You crawl every where and get into trouble whenever you can. The toliet paper can no longer sit out in the bathroom, you are into everything you can't have, especially my kitchen cabinets! You are pulling yourself up to stand now but still no cruising.

You say mama, dada, baba, all done, jeff and doggie. You sign all done and more, you wave bye-bye and give us high five. And you are getting more and more of a temper!!!

You LOVE your food!!! Baby food is almost a thing of the past - for breakfast you eat oatmeal with some fruit in it, then either yogurt or toast. For lunch you have some baby food, then some people food. And for dinner you eat whatever we are having, then I try to fill in with a little bit of baby food. You also like using a fork to feed yourself. We have to stab the food, then you put it right in your mouth. Still only 3 bottles a day and hopefully this month I can get you down to just a night time one. Mommy needs ot start putting milk in your sippy cup.

You think your brother is the best thing ever and now that you are getting bigger - Jeff is starting to play with you and it makes me SO happy to see you interact. The newest thing is he puts you in his dump truck and gives your rides around the house - you think it's hilarious and giggle the whole time.

You are such an amazing little girl...love you Emma!

New Pictures

I had Gerri do new pictures of the kids on Saturday...they turned out GREAT!!! I had to do Jeff's because he is going to be 5, but I wanted new ones of both of them together. I LOVE how they turned out and I'm having a hard time deciding which ones I want.

To Many Gifts...

Christmas is just getting more and more crazy! I hate how people don't listen to you when it comes to what to get the kids. Jeff doesn't play with anything new and just likes his trucks and diggers, so when people ask what to get him we tell them, movies or books about construction equipment. Do people listen...NOPE! Christmas is not about the gifts, it's about spending time together as a family. What child needs this much stuff??

This is our car after we left the Stultz Christmas...Jeff kept the nerf guns and the tractor stuff, but everything else went back!

Jeff does enjoy the nerf gun...he & dad like shooting each other in the house!

Surgery Day

Both kiddos needed tubes put in their ears and instead of doing one at a time we did them both at the same time! Call me crazy, but I'd do it again in a heart beat.

Jeff was so cute making sure Emma was okay while she was there. When Emma was waking up and started crying, Jeff started crying too and said "I know Emma, I don't feel good either." Such a big heart he has!!! I will say that I'm glad it's done though...

The Snow Has Come & Gone

It snowed a little bit on Tuesday but enough that Jeff could go out and play in the snow and he was happy! Now it's gone and he's wondering why!

Merry Christmas!!

What a great Christmas it was. Jeff is at the perfect age and was just beyond excited the entire time, Emma didn't really know what was going on, but still had fun opening gifts. We didn't really have any big plans, Christmas morning the kids opened gifts at the house, then we headed over to Mom & Dad's for breakfast and then spent the entire day over there. It was so relaxing and nice to not worry about being on any kind of schedule.

The kids were spoiled and got lots of goodies and Nick & I were too.
