Wo Wo Wo Wo...

Some of you might be wondering what the title of this post means...well if you know Jeff at all, you know he likes to listen to country music with his momma. But I can honestly not take the credit for this one. His favorite song for the past month has been, Sugarland, It Happens, well while Jacqueline was babysitting for him last week, she turned him onto another song... All I Wanna Do, by Sugarland. It's so adorable, when he wants to listen to it, he goes "Wo, Wo, Wo, Wo" and I put the song on for him...when that part of the song comes on he'll sing in the backseat!!! I LOVE IT... just some fun things he does now.

Great Weekend Away!

Already back to Sunday evening...how does the time off that we have go by so quickly? This weekend was very much enjoyed at the lake, especially since the sun was out for a good portion of the day yesterday and all of today!!!!

Friday night we arrived at the lake and Jeff & Daddy started a campfire... we leave Jeff's mini wheelbarrel at the lake so he can help whenever he sees fit!

Saturday we woke up to lots of rain. It was okay though because there was an auction going on at a place on the lake so everyone took off expect Mom & Myself. We hung out at the cottage... I got to workout, mom read her book and got some things ready for lunch, it was perfect. Then Nick took Jeff to look at the crop duster that was flying overhead. I bet if you go back a year around this time I have pictures of what that looked liked! We had company in the afternoon, I did some much needed work, but it was nice to relax. More company arrived at dinner time, and we just enjoyed sitting around catching up with everyone.

This morning we were up early for church and breakfast out. When we got back the guys started a project and Steph & I took advantage of the sun being out and layed out for awhile...it felt wonderful! The Alexanders made an appearance this afternoon, nice to see them and talk for awhile. Got a boat ride in today too... honestly I think Nick was working a good portion of the day and I enjoyed the sun... Jeff enjoyed working, the sun and a much needed nap!

Lake was great, looking forward to heading back up next weekend... I think!

New Children's Zoo

Our zoo opened a new children's zoo about a month ago, and I've been dying to get Jeff in there and see what it's all about. We took full advantage of being home today and Steph & I were able to sneak in for a little bit. It's amazing what they have to offer... Jeff enjoyed every minute of it too!

Aunt Steph painting Jeff's face, they have a place where kids can sit and decorate their faces, really cool.

Hiking in the stream!

The stream is the neatest thing...bring a dry pair of clothes though!

First Air Show!!!

Today was an exciting day for the Stultz Family... we took Jeff to his first air show, and he LOVED every minute of it. We were a little unsure how he would be with the noise and things like that, but it went better than expected. Some of the noise bothered him a little bit, but for the most part things went off without a hitch. It was great walking through the planes and watching them fly overhead, it an amazing site to see! The best part of the day was watching the Thunder Birds...it was incredible!!! I'm so glad we made the trip down there...

Hoover Weekend At The Lake

The Hoover Family made their annual trip to the lake over the weekend and we had such a great time! It's so much fun hanging out with them since they are such a huge part of our lives. Jeff loves them too...he spent the weekend wanting to do whatever the older kids did of course, and luckily no one mind spends hanging out with him. We all spent the time hanging out in the sun, on the boat, and who knows what else, but I know it was lots of fun!

Saying ABC's

Jeff has started saying his ABC's this week. Nick actually got him started on it, when I got home from work tonight he told me that he & Jeff had a surprise for me. Nick said A, Jeff said A... Nick said B, Jeff said B, and so on and so on...all the way to Z!!! It's so cute to listen to him say some of the letters. He's getting so big and really before we know it he will be going to preschool next fall. Gotta keep him little a longer!!!

Freiburger 4th Weekend!

Well the weekend came and went without too many hiccups I would say! It’s always interesting with so many people in a small place, and the weather wasn’t the greatest, but it felt good to catch up with all of the families and celebrate with Max and his moves on to the next step in his life.

Thursday night we started off the weekend on the right foot by heading to Pizza Populous in downtown Toledo with the 7 of us to enjoy some good food and laughs since we weren’t heading up to the lake until Friday morning. The pizza is so yummy there, I think I could eat their weekly with no issues what so ever! We sat around for awhile enjoying each other’s company. Even Jeff was good and only started wandering towards the end.

I got up Friday at my normal time and worked out and then got myself ready to take off. It’s amazing how much goes into 3 days at the lake! But we managed and left at 745 which of course was ahead of schedule!!! Made a few stops along the way but we arrived at the lake with plenty of time for me to get lunch stuff around and get our room back in working order. There wasn’t much sun, but we all enjoyed sitting out, going through Julia’s garage sale stuff, sharing stories, and laughing…man was there laughing. Rocks were hauled in and moved with the help of the guys, I got a nap in…it was just a wonderful afternoon of nothing really, but those are the best kind. We had a winey bake for dinner…not my fave, but the corn was out of this world! Jeff & I spent some time driving around since he wouldn’t eat, but it was fun. Jeff & I were even asleep before the fireworks started!!!

Saturday was another fun filled day… Got my workout in and done with before 11 so I was happy, Jeff took a very early nap since he was grouchy, some of the guys went golfing, had a wonderfully yummy Mexican lunch, made a trip to Shipshewana with John & Steph & Jeff, took a grandkid picture and a huge family picture, celebrated Max graduating from high school… it was a full day of visiting and everyone kind of did their own thing…it was fun.

Thankfully when we awoke on Sunday morning there was SUNSHINE!!!! We were all out all day long enjoying it too. We enjoyed a nice breakfast out at Adam’s lake with everyone, then it was back to the cottage to soak in all the sun we didn’t get over the other days. Nick & I took the kids tubing, on the wave runner… it was great. Jeff got to stay at the lake with Mom & Dad, and Nick & I came home. It was the first time leaving him, but he was in such good hands, it wasn’t a big deal. It was a nice treat since it was our anniversary. The car ride home was quiet and we just enjoyed not having another person in the car, we even went to dinner, and enjoyed the peacefulness. Amazingly we didn’t really even talk, but it was nice to be together and enjoy each others company.

It was nice seeing everyone, but I’m glad it’s over…way too much for me , but they all love coming to the lake too…until next year!

Jeff enjoying the cold water!

Jeff LOVED Bo...he was so excited to hold her.
