Merry Christmas!

Christmas started very early at our house...Jeff woke me up at 330, and I managed to restart his music and then he came in at 4 asking if Santa had come yet or not. There was no holding him back so he & I went out to look and of course Santa had visited... Jeff went and woke up Nick and our day started!!!

He tore threw the presents within a few minutes and that was that. Jeff LOVED everything that he got and he enjoyed playing with everything before Mom & Dad came to the house for breakfast.

We headed over to Mom & Dad's for the day around 12 or so and enjoyed hanging out and playing games. Steph & John came over later and then we had our Christmas. Everyone was spoiled rotten but we really enjoyed our time together.

A Great Ultrasound

This afternoon I was able to go see the high risk OB and get another ultrasound to check and see if the placenta had moved or not. Luckily everything is looking great, and now I'll just have to be checked at 32 weeks to see if the placenta is growing into my csection scar or not. Anyway, the highlight of the day was getting to take Jeff with me so he could see his baby sister. He thought it was so cool and the ultrasound tech was really sweet to Jeff & even printed out some pictures for him.

Look at her fat feet...poor thing doesn't stand a chance!

She was tired of listening to her brother already!

Breakfast with Santa

I was sick with the flu on Saturday and asked Aunt Stephie & Uncle John to take Jeff to breakfast with Santa for me. Jeff was so excited to go with them, and it was great for them to get to spend a little time by themselves with Jeff. From the looks of it, he had a great time!

Jeff's First Christmas Performance

Last night was Jeff's first Christmas Performance...
Nick & I were both nervous about how he would do because he would not practice songs at home and he hates being in front of people and having attention drawn on him. Well I'm happy to say that he surprised us both and he did great! Uncle John & Aunt Steph even came to watch him which was a nice surprise!!!

Kalahari Trip

This weekend we took a trip to our favorite indoor waterpark...Kalahari!!! We had a great time, even though we weren't there as long as we thought we'd be, but still it was nice to get away and spend some time, just the 3 of us. Jeff LOVED the kiddie area and we stayed there pretty much the entire time, but seriously it felt good to relax and watch Jeff enjoy himself.

Little Hunter

It's hunting season at the lake, so since we had a long weekend we decided to head over so the boys could hunt and try to get their deer. Jeff kept saying that he didn't want to go, but finally he decided he wanted too. The older boys were so excited that he went out with them!!!
Getting all ready to go...my little hunter.

One Little Lady!

This morning Nick & I headed off to the big ultrasound to see how Baby Stultz was growing in my belly and thankfully everything looks wonderful and we are greatful for that. The best news was that Jeff is going to have a little sister!!! Our family I'm sure is complete with one of each, but I couldn't be more excited and I know Nick is even happier.

I think Jeff knew right from the start, this is the picture he drew of the baby when school started at the beginning of September.

Our Trip to Galena

This past weekend we ventured out to Galena so the boys could go phesant hunting with the dogs. It was a great trip and everyone really enjoyed themselves!! The boys would hunt each morning while us girls & Jeff headed into town to do some shopping. The area is just beautiful and the shops downtown are just as nice, lots of goodies were purchase, and yummy food eaten. We are already planning another trip out there for next year!

Jeff's Puppy "Alvin" Costume

I'm sad to say that I was a lazy mother this year and Jeff did not get a homemade costume like I usually do for him, but I did find this adorable alternative. I thought he looked super cute and he really seemed to like it too.

Of course when it came to Halloween he wanted nothing to do with trick or treating but that is beside the point!

Moving Trees

We headed to the lake on Saturday so we could move trees & take out the dock. We had a surprise when we got there because Willeman's had come up to help see how everything was done. Jeff was so excited because Simon was up there again! Luckily Simon didn't mind Jeff tagging along again, but he really did enjoy the day. I got some great shots...maybe even one will be a Christmas picture, we'll have to see.

Weekend Trip to Carmel

This past weekend we headed down to Indy to watch my cousin Jack play football and it was his senior night game so that was exciting to see. It was great to spend time with the Willeman's down there and just relax and have a great time.

Jeff & Simon...they were great buddies!

Jack & Nick finished the BUB (big ugly burger)...Nick struggled but he did it!

Jeff's First Field Trip

Today Jeff got to go on his first field trip today to Gust Brother Farm and oh my goodness was he in heaven. I wasn't able to take him, but luckily MaMa was right there to go along with him. He had such a great time feeding the animals and going on a hayride!!!

80 Degrees in October? We'll Take It!!!

This past weekend was gorgeous, no complaining about the weather at all, and we had just as much fun to prove it! I don't know about any of you, but when Friday nights roll around I'm exhausted and honestly I'm ready to be done. So in good Friday night fashion, we ordered some pizza and just hung out it...it felt great! I did manage to get my test taken, but the the computer lost it so I had to tkae it all over again...UGH...I was not happy about that one!

Saturday morning Nick had to work so it was just Jeff & Me. We did our usual bumming, but then Steph called and wanted to know if we wanted to go to Johnston Farms in Swanton to see the animals and get some apples...it sounded good to us, so we were on our way. Of course we had to wait while we were at theHoover's...shocking I know, but it worked out because we waited for Nick and John gave the 3 of us a ride on the haywagon. We went back behind their house into the woods, oh my gosh it was so much fun. Jeff loved it, but he didn't like how "itchy" the straw was. After Nick got there we took off to Johnston Farms and it was okay. Honestly Jeff liked the sandbox that they have there and the guys watched someone making apple cider, and Steph & I got some apples and apple crisp mix, it was nice. When we were done there we headed off to the Butterfly House because one of John's friends was doing hayrides out there. I have never been out there before but my goodness is that place neat. We didn't really do anything expect sit and relax while Jeff enjoyed playing in tires filled with corn! By the time the haywagon ride was ready we were too. It was really neat though, they took us back into a Christmas tree farm driving us all around, very neat to see. By this time we were hungry and headed to Loma's for lunch. We had such a great time, Jeff was the best he really has ever been, with no toys or anything for him! When we got home, we spent the afternoon just relaxing and not doing much of anything, well Nick watched the Michigan game and I cooked but that was about it.

Sunday was a lazy morning!!! And it felt great... I literally did nothing until 12, then I busted my butt around the house. Nick & Jeff pulled all of our flowers and got our yard looking bare again, but it felt good to have that done. We spent the entire afternoon at Steph & John's making applesauce and baking things we needed to drop off at church. The guys practiced shooting clay pigeons for the Galena trip coming up, and then we headed over to Mom & Dad's for a nice family dinner with Fr. Jeff.

The weekends are awesome...the best part is always when Jeff asks me where he is going the next day and he gets upset telling me he wishes I could stay home with him. Gotta Love Him!

New Things Jeff Does & Says

*Jeff will fold his arms across his chest and say "I am not..." It's hilarious and it takes everything Nick & I have not to laugh at him.

*If Jeff gets in trouble and we send him to his room, he'll sit in there and cry and say "Mama, can you hear me? Please come and save me, take me away." Nick & I heard this the other night and almost died laughing...seriously where does he come up with this stuff?

*Last weekend I let Jeff pick out the crocs that he wanted, it was between black & orange because those were the only colors in his size. Well he reason for wanting them was because he could wear them hunting and then everyone could see him, since he has to wear orange anyway.

*Even after being with MaMa all day he will say the moment he gets in trouble for something "I just miss MaMa so much..."

*Jeff is very proper when he talks. If we are at the lake and say oh we are going to the property, he'll correct us and say "No, it's MOOM Properties!"

*He is starting to ask us what is okay for him to say. If he questions anything he'll say, "Mom is it okay for me to say...?"

*"He is my bestest buddy!"

* "No, I do not like that!"

* "Yeah let's just do that, okay?"

* "No, I don't want you to do it anymore."

* "Just throw it away, I don't like it anymore." He says this a lot when he gets in trouble!

That is all I can think of right now, I know there is more, but honestly it's hard to keep track of them all. My goal is write them down and keep track of them so I can easily remember the next time.

Big Cookout!

Last night we had the Hoover/Freiburger cookout and had such a great time, I'm so glad that we took the time to do it, especially while the weather was nice. Jeff just loves the Hoover's, they are just like family to him, and luckily they think of him the same way!

Labor Day Weekend

Well I'm sad to say that we just celebrated the "last" official weekend of summer, and boy did we have a great time doing it. Jeff just loves being up there and being able to be outside all weekend long.

We stayed home Friday night and went to Chris Hoover's football game then got up early and made our way up to the lake. It was nice to relax since we had a 3 day weekend. Normally when Friday comes it's rush, rush to get up to the lake at a decent time.

Anyway, it was a nice drive Saturday morning with Jeff sitting in the backseat asking if we were almost there like every 5 minutes! As soon as we got to the lake he was out of the car and in the sand and I think he stayed there all weekend. The boys took off to the property and us girls decided to head to the outlets and do a little shopping...relaxing is the keyword, it was awesome!
When we got back, we found Jeff helping Papa fix the lawn mower...that little boy always has to be involved with what is going on...he's great for that!

Saturday night was the concert next door and we had a good time listening to music and hanging out with family.

Sunday we were up early for church and breakfast but then spent the rest of the day hanging out. Laura O took Jeff down and showed him how he could fish on her property...he LOVED it. He really hasn't gone fishing yet, just always plays with his pole to try and hit people. Well he did it and did it well because he actually caught a fish. I wasn't down there for that though, so this picture is going to have to do! I love it, he is so happy and proud.

Jeff loves dogs now a days, but Laura O's dog Molly loves Jeff!

Jeff thought it would be fun to lay out with Aunt Teppie, I thought it was an adorable picture!!!

The big news at our house for the weekend is that Jeff starts school Tuesday morning. Where did the time go?
