Jeff's Puppy "Alvin" Costume

I'm sad to say that I was a lazy mother this year and Jeff did not get a homemade costume like I usually do for him, but I did find this adorable alternative. I thought he looked super cute and he really seemed to like it too.

Of course when it came to Halloween he wanted nothing to do with trick or treating but that is beside the point!

Moving Trees

We headed to the lake on Saturday so we could move trees & take out the dock. We had a surprise when we got there because Willeman's had come up to help see how everything was done. Jeff was so excited because Simon was up there again! Luckily Simon didn't mind Jeff tagging along again, but he really did enjoy the day. I got some great shots...maybe even one will be a Christmas picture, we'll have to see.

Weekend Trip to Carmel

This past weekend we headed down to Indy to watch my cousin Jack play football and it was his senior night game so that was exciting to see. It was great to spend time with the Willeman's down there and just relax and have a great time.

Jeff & Simon...they were great buddies!

Jack & Nick finished the BUB (big ugly burger)...Nick struggled but he did it!

Jeff & Simon enjoying the pool.

Enjoying the farm

I love this picture of the two of us.

Jeff's First Field Trip

Today Jeff got to go on his first field trip today to Gust Brother Farm and oh my goodness was he in heaven. I wasn't able to take him, but luckily MaMa was right there to go along with him. He had such a great time feeding the animals and going on a hayride!!!

80 Degrees in October? We'll Take It!!!

This past weekend was gorgeous, no complaining about the weather at all, and we had just as much fun to prove it! I don't know about any of you, but when Friday nights roll around I'm exhausted and honestly I'm ready to be done. So in good Friday night fashion, we ordered some pizza and just hung out it...it felt great! I did manage to get my test taken, but the the computer lost it so I had to tkae it all over again...UGH...I was not happy about that one!

Saturday morning Nick had to work so it was just Jeff & Me. We did our usual bumming, but then Steph called and wanted to know if we wanted to go to Johnston Farms in Swanton to see the animals and get some apples...it sounded good to us, so we were on our way. Of course we had to wait while we were at theHoover's...shocking I know, but it worked out because we waited for Nick and John gave the 3 of us a ride on the haywagon. We went back behind their house into the woods, oh my gosh it was so much fun. Jeff loved it, but he didn't like how "itchy" the straw was. After Nick got there we took off to Johnston Farms and it was okay. Honestly Jeff liked the sandbox that they have there and the guys watched someone making apple cider, and Steph & I got some apples and apple crisp mix, it was nice. When we were done there we headed off to the Butterfly House because one of John's friends was doing hayrides out there. I have never been out there before but my goodness is that place neat. We didn't really do anything expect sit and relax while Jeff enjoyed playing in tires filled with corn! By the time the haywagon ride was ready we were too. It was really neat though, they took us back into a Christmas tree farm driving us all around, very neat to see. By this time we were hungry and headed to Loma's for lunch. We had such a great time, Jeff was the best he really has ever been, with no toys or anything for him! When we got home, we spent the afternoon just relaxing and not doing much of anything, well Nick watched the Michigan game and I cooked but that was about it.

Sunday was a lazy morning!!! And it felt great... I literally did nothing until 12, then I busted my butt around the house. Nick & Jeff pulled all of our flowers and got our yard looking bare again, but it felt good to have that done. We spent the entire afternoon at Steph & John's making applesauce and baking things we needed to drop off at church. The guys practiced shooting clay pigeons for the Galena trip coming up, and then we headed over to Mom & Dad's for a nice family dinner with Fr. Jeff.

The weekends are awesome...the best part is always when Jeff asks me where he is going the next day and he gets upset telling me he wishes I could stay home with him. Gotta Love Him!

New Things Jeff Does & Says

*Jeff will fold his arms across his chest and say "I am not..." It's hilarious and it takes everything Nick & I have not to laugh at him.

*If Jeff gets in trouble and we send him to his room, he'll sit in there and cry and say "Mama, can you hear me? Please come and save me, take me away." Nick & I heard this the other night and almost died laughing...seriously where does he come up with this stuff?

*Last weekend I let Jeff pick out the crocs that he wanted, it was between black & orange because those were the only colors in his size. Well he reason for wanting them was because he could wear them hunting and then everyone could see him, since he has to wear orange anyway.

*Even after being with MaMa all day he will say the moment he gets in trouble for something "I just miss MaMa so much..."

*Jeff is very proper when he talks. If we are at the lake and say oh we are going to the property, he'll correct us and say "No, it's MOOM Properties!"

*He is starting to ask us what is okay for him to say. If he questions anything he'll say, "Mom is it okay for me to say...?"

*"He is my bestest buddy!"

* "No, I do not like that!"

* "Yeah let's just do that, okay?"

* "No, I don't want you to do it anymore."

* "Just throw it away, I don't like it anymore." He says this a lot when he gets in trouble!

That is all I can think of right now, I know there is more, but honestly it's hard to keep track of them all. My goal is write them down and keep track of them so I can easily remember the next time.
