What A Lucky Little Boy!

Jeff is so lucky, but there is no way he knows it yet. Today while his daddy & I are at work, Jeff got to go to Put-In-Bay with Mama, Aunt Stephie and some of Mom's family. I feel blessed that he's able to do these things and that Mom doesn't mind being with him as much as she is. It makes going to work that much easier every day. I mean look at this picture...you think he's loved?

Happy Wedding Day Pat & Bethany!!!

Congratulation's Pat & Bethany!!! They got married yesterday and even though is was awfully warm outside, I think it's safe to say that everyone had a great time!!!

I'm so glad they are finally married...they've been waiting for this day for almost a year and a half now and they are so in love, anyone who looks at them can see that.

Father's Day Weekend

Well another weekend that we are home so we needed to come up with something to do! Friday night we didn't do much of anything, we just hung out at home and talked to the neighbors in the backyard. Actually the boys ended up having a water fight with each other, but it's nice that everyone gets along and we can just talk and laugh together.

Saturday I wanted to get to the zoo since we hadn't been there yet this year. It was a little warm, but we went early and enjoyed the time we had there. Jeff is just getting so big and enjoys watching all of the animals and laughing about how they act. Funny how things change from one year to the next.

As always Jeff enjoyed playing on the playground.

Today was Father's Day! We had Jamison's baptism so we didn't do anything special for Nick, Jeff wouldn't even tell him Happy Father's Day, but that's how Jeff is. It did feel good not rushing in the morning though, and we went to church at 11 with everyone. Audrey & Jeff were so good during church. I couldn't tell you one thing that was said, but at least we didn't have melt downs. The baptism was nice as well. Nick & I are honored to be Jamison's godparents, it really shows how far our friendship has come over the years. We spent the afternoon at the Martin's and had a great time eating and swimming and just relaxing. The kids were great even without naps so that was a blessing! After the party we ended up going to Mom & Dad's to have a cookout with Dad. A great weekend, but man I'm tired!

Another Fantastic Weekend - Lots of Friend/Family Time

We were busy again this weekend, but with things we wanted to do with was so nice. I love when we have scheduled things that we can do as a family! Friday night we just hung out and didn't much of anything, but Saturday morning changed that for sure.

The Cherry Feast was going on in Whitehouse, so we got together with our friends and walked up to the parade and then let the kids ride some of the rides for awhile. It was so much fun watching them pickup the candy and get the hang of the idea. It was to hot though and we were all miserable. We spent the afternoon is air conditioning before we made our way to St. Joe's Family Fair. We had a great time, but the weather spoiled the enjoyment. Jeff was literally dripping from head to toe by the time we left. He had a great time though, so that is all that matters.

Sunday we headed down to Tiffin so we could swim! We didn't want to be as hot as the day before so we did that and had a great time. Everyone was busy so it was just us and Nick's parents. Of course I forgot the camera, but Jeff had a great time swimming, feeding the pigs and ducks, riding the 4 wheeler and feeding the cow. I'm sure we'll be making another trip down there soon.

We were all beat after the weekend and crashed early Sunday night! Weekends just go by way to fast...

Happy Birthday to Nick!

Yesterday was Nick's birthday and I took the afternoon off to get things ready. It's amazing how much time you don't really have when you work and aren't home during the day. Anyway it was a great afternoon that went by way to fast. We had dinner at Mom & Dad's and Nick's parents came up to celebrate as well...it was a great evening!!!

What A Weekend!

Seriously we had such an awesome weekend I don't even know where to begin...

Friday night we had the Clampitt family over for a cookout, it was so good to see them and catch up. I think it had been at least a good month since we had seen them. Audrey & Jeff get along so well together it's fun to see them playing and giggling. And of course Jamison is such a cutie, you can only love cuddling with him. We were lucky and the rain helf off so we were able to be outside the entire time.

Nick left us early Saturday morning for his bachelor party weekend! I was looking forward to spending the weekend alone with Jeff and getting some good quality time in. We had a playdate Saturday morning and by the time we got home it was time for Jeff to nap and I took one too. I didn't wake up until 515, and Jeff woke up closer to 6, it was crazy how tired we both were. We ran some errands and then Amanda called us to see if we wanted to do dinner with them, of course we did and then it was off to finish the errands that got interrupted.

We had awful storms Saturday night...I mean tornado sirens going off only getting a few hours of sleep kind of storms. We survived though and Nick heard all about our adventures we had.

Sunday once Nick got home and cleaned up we headed down to Tiffin for a family gathering. We had such a nice time with everyone. It felt great to let the kids play together and just catch up. If pictures speak for themselves, all of the boys had a good time!!!

Kickoff for Summer - Memorial Day Weekend

The weekend was awesome, not sure really what else I could say about it. We headed up to the lake Friday night and the fun never stopped! The sun was shining almost all weekend, the water was warm enough to swim in, and we had plenty of laughther, it was just a great time. Felt good to be back up there and start the season off with gorgeous weather!!!
