What A Big Man

My child has no fear, and I mean that literally...about some things anyway. Last night we were at swim class and they got to jump of the platforms into the deep end of the pool. Jeff LOVED it, every second of it, and had no fear while doing it. He was jumping every which direction as long as it was away from the instructors. The other parents were laughing at him because he just wasn't worried about anything expect jumping into that pool!

First Cookout!

Since last night was gorgeous outside, we took the opportunity to grill out!! It's the first time we've gotten to grill out at our new house. We tried calling people to come over, but no one wanted to pick up there phones, oh well. It was alright, the 3 of us enjoyed ourselves and had a great time...now we just need our patio!

Spring is Getting Closer

And you can totally tell!!! The weather is gorgeous out there right now and we are enjoying every minute of it. This is the 3rd day that we've been above 50 and it's more than welcomed. Jeff is enjoying getting back outside and playing on his swingset. I think pretty soon we are going to need to make a run to the store to get him some outdoor toys for our house!!!

A Sad Realization Today

My little boy is 3...yes I know he just had his birthday and he turned 3, but what happens when you are 3?? School...yes, Jeff can start pre-school this fall and we are registering him this weekend. Oh my goodness, it actually time to start thinking about school for him...I seriously can't believe it came so quickly.

It makes me sad in a way to have him so big, it seems like we were just bringing him home from the hospital and then boom, here we are. I'm glad he's 3, it's nice to be able to do things with him and have him light up when you take him to do something special. There is no worry about a nap schedule, no diapers during the day, we just pick up and go with very little in tow. But with that comes the realization that he's really growing up and that is scary!
