Another Great Weekend at Home!!!

It felt good to be home again this weekend...we started the weekend off with Nick going to Tiffin for a football game, so Jeff & I decided to hang out with Amanda & Audrey. We had such a good time, we hit BRU to test out carseat and strollers, then we went to dinner at Granite City...probably shouldn't of done dinner, but whatever, if the guys were doing what they wanted, then so were we! The kids were pretty good, so that was nice.

Saturday morning, Nick had to work, I wanted to go and see dad's new plant so mom & I headed out for a fun filled morning. We did a little grocery shopping, then made our way to the plant. OMG the plant is HUGE!!! Seriously if I worked there I'd want a golf car to drive around...no excuses for anyone gaining weight working there. It looks amazing though, and I'm so happy for dad. He's worked so hard for something like this, he surely deserves every bit of it! We came home did lunch, then Nick left for Tiffin again, for another football game. Steph came over though and we spent the day together. We haven't done that in ages, but it was full...we took a nice walk, tried to get Jeff to take a nap, went to her house for a bit, dinner, TJ Maxx, ice-cream, then drove by what hopefully will beo ur new house!!! Nick stayed down to hang out with friends and I couldn't even tell you what time he got home...later than I thought though.

Jeff woke surprising early on Sunday...730, so we decided to do church. He wasn't the best behaved, but at least we got there, right? We didn't do to much today, just some grocery shopping, a little house shopping, park with Jeff, then home to relax! It was a nice day.

I did break out the camera because I've been horrible at taking pictures. All of these pictures are from Sunday, hence the exact same outfit!

about the blog??? I can't believe it's been 2 full weeks since I posted anything on here. I have meant to but honestly we have been extremely busy house hunting and school has started up for me again...the joy!

Anyway, these first couple of pictures were taken at the lake when it was 90 degrees outside. We spent the entire weekend in the water and it was wonderful...I've missed those warm weekends this summer!!!

The following weekend were were home and it felt great! My friend Amanda called on Saturday morning and told me to come and hang out with everyone so that's what we did. We hit the zoo with some other kiddos and they all had a great time! We ended the evening with a cookout back at Amanda & Justins and the kids enjoyed the backyard. I'm so happy we did that because it was a lot of fun.

Potty Training

The time has come to start Jeff on getting fully potty trained!!! He's awesome and goes whenever we put him on, but I'm ready to be done with the diapers, and since he's telling me when he does certain things, I figured now was as good of a time as any.

We started over the weekend and he did great! Of course we were at the lake and he's in the water, but no accidents when he wasn't wearing a diaper. I put him in a diaper for the carride home because I didn't want to clean up a mess, but last night when we went on a carride I kept him out of a diaper and he did awesome no accidents and we were gone for 30 minutes!!!

Today at lunch I got him big boy undies...hopefully he likes them!!!

Summer Has Sprung!

So we've waited for how long for the HOT weather to get here??? Seriously it can leave anytime now though. I'm thankful we were at the lake this weekend, because there is no place else I would of wanted to be!!!

Jeff got to go up to the lake early on Friday with mom...what a lucky little guy he is! Nick, Dad & I all drove up when we were done with work. The guys of course like to make pitstops along the way, I just wanted to get to the lake to see Jeff. I love how excited he is to see me when we get there...it's like he hasn't seen me for a week!

Saturday morning we woke up to rain! Gross ugly rain, but it was okay... Jeff went with Nick to get donuts, I got my workout in, so we were all happy. Since the sun wasn't out, we decided to head to Shipshe to look at some things, get a pretzel at JoJo's and enjoy the morning. We were back at a decent time, then had Jeff take a nap. I ended up napping too...felt great to be lazy! We all did church Saturday night, took a wonderful boat ride, and just enjoyed the lake.

Sunday it was warm!!! The sun was shining bright and early and we spent the entire day outside in the heat and humidity. Jeff enjoyed the sandbox, swinging on the swing, going tubing with mom, playing in the water...anything he could think of really. I enjoyed being in the sun and getting some color!!! Nick, well he was sick so he spent all day indoors... it was a nice weekend away. Quiet, that's for sure, especially since it was just the 5 of us up there!

Maumee Bay...Here We Come!!!

Instead of going to the lake this weekend we decided to stay home and hang out with some friends at Maumee Bay. They were spending the weekend out there, and we decided to crash their party and come too. We could not of asked for a better day...the weather was awesome and we all enjoyed riding bikes, playing in the sand & water and catching up eith each others lives. We are looking forward to next month when we go to Kalahari together...that should be a good time!!!
